What you missed: The Fusion Report
Today's Fusion 25, the first TaxCalc/Engager joint event was more than a conference, it was also a celebration.

The joining of TaxCalc and Engager announced at Accountex in May was accompanied by a promise that an integration between these favourites of the profession would follow in good time. Today announced the fulfilment of that promise.
Just six short months have passed since the acquisition, and mountains have been moved – a two-way sync allowing for customer data to flow between the two is real. That was the first cheer from the crowd at 30 Euston Square, but not the last.

The announcements flowed from the stage – we heard about service safeguards, integrated tax questionnaire, file sharing and more – each equally well received.
But the more fundamental commitments had the most far-reaching effects. A commitment to a full move to the cloud for TaxCalc triggered at least one of our delegates to cancel his subscription to his current software and make the switch there and then!
Yes, TaxCalc is moving to the cloud - not as a clumsy migration but a staged enhancement to the desktop solution allowing for both browser and desktop app access with NO MIGRATION.
All of this combined with a roster of brilliant speakers sharing advice and inspiration about exploiting connections and collaborations made for a fantastic day.
