System Requirements for TaxCalc
Last updated: 20 Jan, 2017
TaxCalc is either ‘fully supported’, ‘partially supported’ or ‘unsupported’ running on the configurations of operating system as listed here.
TaxCalc is optimised to work on the specified versions of these operating systems and all releases are tested on them.
Apple Mac (64-bit Intel processors only)
We fully support customers with TaxCalc queries encountered when running on these configurations and we endeavour to correct any issues that emerge.
Appropriate hardware is required to run any operating system.
TaxCalc may work perfectly well on the following platforms but we cannot guarantee it.
Releases are tested on these configurations and we will make reasonable efforts to support customers with queries encountered on them but we may not be able to correct any issues that emerge.
These operating systems will usually be no longer supported by their suppliers, making them vulnerable to security threats. As a result it may become necessary for us to make changes to TaxCalc with minimal or no notice that render it unable to run on a given partially supported platform.
For all these reasons we recommend that all customers move to a fully supported platform as soon as possible.
From 1 March 2016, support ceased for the above versions of Microsoft Windows. To find out more, please read article Withdrawal of Support for Windows XP and Server 2003.
Any operating system not explicitly listed as ‘fully supported’ or ‘partially supported’ should be considered ‘unsupported’.
TaxCalc will probably not run on these platforms or, if it does, some functions may not behave correctly. No testing is performed and only limited support will be given to customers with queries or issues encountered running on these configurations.
These operating systems may no longer be supported by their suppliers making them vulnerable to security threats and we strongly recommend that all customers move to a fully supported platform immediately.
