Oct 2026 Engager.app Release

Multiple offices are now in Engager

Great news, Engager now supports multiple offices. Practices can set up and manage each of their offices, assign clients and users to them, filter and group work by office, and pull office details into client communications so every client hears from the right office.

It is built for practices with more than one site, and for practices where each office is its own legal entity. If you don't need it, it can be switched off.

Setting up offices

You'll find offices under Settings > Practice details > Offices.

When the feature is first enabled, Engager automatically creates a main office using the contact details from your Company information page. You can edit these at any time.

For each office you can record:

  • Office code
  • Office name
  • Legal entity name (where relevant)
  • Whether it is the default office
  • Address and contact details

The default office is automatically assigned to new clients and new users, unless you change it.

Clients and users

Clients: each client belongs to one office, set in the Primary office field on the client record. The Offices view shows how many clients are assigned to each office, so you can see how your client base is split.

Users: each user has one primary office, and can also be allowed to work in additional offices. The Offices view shows primary and total user counts for each office.

Filtering and grouping by office

Office is now part of how you view and organise your work:

  • Client list: add office as a column, use it as a filter, and bulk assign an office to multiple clients at once
  • Jobs and Deals: group by and filter by the client's office

That makes it much easier to see workload by site, and to report on each office separately.

Office placeholders in client communications

Office name, address, email, contact details and legal entity name can all be inserted into your templates as placeholders. Each client then receives their own office's details automatically.

For example, a single welcome email template can show Manchester details to a Manchester client and London details to a client of your main office, with no need for separate templates.

Turning offices off

If your practice doesn't need multiple offices, you can disable the feature. This hides the office field across user and client records, filters and views, so Engager stays as simple as before.

Keep the feedback coming

Every update we make exists because someone told us where Engager wasn't quite working the way they needed it to. If there's something you'd like to see in Offices, or anything slowing you down, log it through Sleekplan or raise it with your account manager. It's the fastest route from "this would help" to "this got built."

Want to see Offices in action? Log in to Engager.app and head to Settings > Practice details > Offices to try it out. And if you've got feedback of your own, we're listening.
