August 2026 Engager.app Releases 2.0

Top - Level Summary

Five updates, requested by you!

We build Engager.app around what practices actually ask for, whether that's a feature request logged through Sleekplan or something mentioned in passing on a call. This release is a good example of that in action. Nothing here came from a roadmap dreamed up in isolation, it all came from you.

Here's what's new.

Attach Portal files to client memos

Memos got flags a little while back, so you could mark one as needing attention. Now they've gone a step further: memos can carry file attachments too.

When you add a new memo, you can link an existing file from the portal, or upload a new one and link it in the same step. Once it's linked, clicking through to Portal File shows you the full detail on that document, without leaving the memo.

It's also connected to the flag feature. Flag a memo with an attachment, and the banner on the client info page now shows that there's a linked file waiting to be reviewed. Anyone looking at that client can see, at a glance, that there's something attached and something to action, rather than having to open the memo to find out.

It's a small addition, but it closes a gap that's come up often: memos that reference a document, with no easy way to get to that document from the memo itself.

A new report for won and lost deals

The Deals section now has a dedicated report summarising your closed won and closed lost deals, with two pre-built views and filters along the top so you can adjust the date range and drill into what matters.

On the lost deals side, you'll see:

  • The reasons deals were lost, so you can spot patterns rather than one-off cases
  • Lost deals grouped by team member
  • The value of lost deals
  • The average number of days a deal was open before it closed

The won deals view mirrors this, with deals grouped by the team member who won them, the value of those wins, and the average time to close.

There are KPIs across the top of both views for a quick read, and everything can be exported to CSV if you want to take it further or share it outside Engager.app. If you've ever wanted a proper view of your pipeline's outcomes rather than just what's currently open, this is built for exactly that.

Round service fees to the nearest pound in one click

A small one, but a genuinely useful one if you're setting up pricing across several services at once.

From a client's Services and Pricing screen, there's now a button that rounds every service fee on that client up to the nearest pound in a single click. Instead of adjusting each fee individually, you can add your services, review the fees, and round the lot in one go.

It won't apply to every client or every pricing structure, but where it fits, it removes a repetitive bit of manual tidying up.

Three new job statuses, requested by you

All Work now includes three additional job statuses:

  • Review complete
  • Awaiting signature
  • Awaiting payment

These came directly from requests logged through Sleekplan and raised in conversations with the team, and they reflect stages that a lot of practices were previously tracking manually, outside Engager.app. Now they're built in, so your job list reflects where things actually stand.

This won't be the last word on job statuses either. More changes are on the way based on what you've told us, so keep the requests coming.

Right-click to copy email addresses

Last month's update made email addresses clickable across client records, opening a compose window ready to go. Useful, but it had a side effect: you could no longer right-click an email address to copy it, which quite a few of you flagged fairly quickly.

That's now fixed. Right-clicking an email address on a client profile gives you the copy option again, alongside the click-to-compose behaviour from before. Both now work exactly as you'd expect.

It's a small thing, but we know it disrupted a habit a lot of you rely on daily, so it went straight to the top of the list once we heard about it.

Keep the feedback coming

Every update in this release exists because someone told us where Engager.app wasn't quite working the way they needed it to, whether that was a missing report, a fiddly pricing step, a status that didn't exist yet, or a right-click that stopped working.

That's exactly how we want it to keep working. If there's something slowing you down, log it through Sleekplan or raise it with your account manager. It's the fastest route from "this is annoying" to "this got fixed."

Want to see any of these in action? Log in to Engager.app to try the new deals report, link a file to your next memo, or round a client's fees in one click. And if you've got feedback of your own, we're listening.
