Where is my database stored and can I move it? (Practice users)

The database cannot be moved due to system settings within the software. The locations are as follows.

Windows

Standalone users

The database is called hub.sqlite. If you selected the just me option during installation, the database will be here:

C:\Users\(Your username)\AppData\Roaming\Acorah Software Products\TaxCalcHub\hub.sqlite

If you selected the All users option for during installation, the database will be here:

C:\TaxCalcHub\Sqlite\hub.sqlite

Network users

The database folder is in c:\TaxCalcHub\PostgreSQL\

Mac

The database is called hub.sqlite and is in the location ~Library\Application Support\Acorah Software Products\TaxCalcHub\hub.sqlite

Linux

The database is called hub.sqlite and is in home/.acorah software products/TaxCalcHub/hub.sqlite (This is a hidden folder)

Please Note: At the time of writing, TaxCalc is available as a standalone or client version for Mac and Linux. TaxCalc are looking to release the server version of the program for these platforms in the future.

Cloud

The database is stored on our cloud server. The data is still in PostgreSQL format but it is not stored locally on your or other user machines.
