PC Pro review of TaxCalc 2009 Personal 6 - March 2009 issue
Verdict: Few new features, but a solid, inexpensive program that remains the best tax return software for individuals.
The Inland Revenue's push towards online tax filing has spawned a clutch of third-party tax return tools and Acorah Software's TaxCalc Personal is our current favourite, allowing you to submit up to six tax returns.

The program takes its users beyond the tax man’s jargon and makes it possible for anyone, regardless of their tax and accounting knowledge, to calculate the amount of tax that they have to pay and complete their tax return. By completing the SimpleStep questionnaire, TaxCalc users can calculate their tax liability calculations, from capital gains tax to company car tax, before they send their completed return to HMRC. read more...
