Client information
Standing information about the client, such as its name, address, partners and officers is presented to you to review and confirm.

This section also includes access to the Chart of Accounts for lookup and editing.

Posting transactions
Transactions are entered using the Posting Batch window. Accounts can be chosen by entering a nominal ledger code or simply by typing their title.

There's no need to pre-compute a trial balance. Whether your client supplies a final trial balance for further adjustment or you've prepared a file of working papers for coding and entering, Posting Batches are a flexible way of managing the entry of transactions.

The system supports a full audit trail and provides nominal ledger and trial balance reports with filtering and drilldown functionality.

Entering notes and disclosures
TaxCalc Accounts Production features a library of notes and disclosures that may appear on a set of financial statements.

It's easy to work with this window. Use the Quick Search to find a note quickly, click in the tree to jump to a disclosure or use the Previous and Next Step to walk your way through the options.

All information is tagged for XBRL as you enter it and Preview Mode shows you the results as you make changes.

Reports
Producing reports in TaxCalc Accounts Production is just a click away. One-Click iXBRL effortlessly produces your iXBRL file for attaching to a tax return.

The system supports a full audit trail, nominal ledger and trial balance reports with filtering and drilldown functionality.

Tax information for sole traders and partnerships can be exported to TaxCalc Pro (and some third party tax products).

Client records
Getting started is easy. Client information from TaxCalc Pro can be imported and kept in sync with the tax return through the TaxCalc Bridge.

SimpleStep® is used throughout the system to capture information about the client and guides you through the recording of relationships, importing of data and adding work based information about the client (e.g. work status, AML events and so on).
